Still on the hunt for a used PSD. Is the FX4 pkg just shocks? Should I even care if it has it or not? I'd probably end up going with Bilsteins anyways.
I have no garage, so that's not an issue.
Looks like I'm looking to the 350. I was just hoping I could squeak by with the 250 (and save a few $$$). There is quite a difference between the two in price here in NH.
as far as used PSD's go, how many miles would you put the cap on? 100k? 75k?
ah, that's the info I'm looking for. So it seems the 350 is a more "stiffly sprung 250" (obviously DRWs are different). They both must have the same gear ratios I'm assuming too.
Anyone have a tool to break down VINs so I can do a little more research?
What I meant was mechanical differences (spring rates / diffs / etc). Like what is the real differences between the two. I'm getting a crew cab, but the bed really is up in the air. I'd prefer a long one. However, if the 250 + 350 share the same engine / trans then why should I pay for a 350?

Yes, I've heard that if I get a shortbed I'd need that slider hitch. That's not a problem for me. The 5er is a year or two away anyways, just trying to plan for the weight.
Is there a thread with specs per year on here? Autotrader only lists specs for the gas engines...
