My truck started normal then started to skip, i got it going and it was good at high rpms then i came to a stop sign and when i pulled away it started to skip then stalled out, it restarted but then died once more now it won't start. My mechanic blames the chip but pulled the chip and still...
Does anyone run one of the radiator covers across the front? I've noticed with the after market exhaust my truck sometimes will never keep up to temp even with hard driving.
In the past two weeks I changed the sway bar bushings, the starter, the rear ujoint, turbo compressor housing, injectors, glow plugs and wiring harness for the glow plugs and injectors... Woo glad that's all done!
Well tried to bump the starter but it still does the same as before starter doesn't do anything gonna test to see if it's getting power... What're the fuses involved with this?
Tore it back down and pulled the glow plugs they had a bit of oil on them still idk if that does mean that there was a lot in there but I'm gonna turn it over blowing it out tomorrow do you guys just crank the engine like normal?
Everything seems normal the glow plug relay turns on the wait to start light goes out then when you turn the key it doesn't do anything the starter doesn't make any noise it doesn't engage nothing happens.
Ya I'm almost positive I got all the liquid out but my main problem is that after doing everything when I initially went to start it the starter won't engage.
Well I just changed out my fuel injectors on my 2000 7.3 and now the pump everything turns on to the key but it wont turn over or start it just goes click with the key. I double checked grounds and plugs with no luck. It also doesn't throw a code. It acts like a ground is missing. If I missed...
Bought the new injectors and wiring harnesses today, gonna change all of them out tomorrow should be a long day... I'll post back how it goes and if it gets rid of it.
