Trans fluid leaking
I have an E4OD. I noticed a lot of dripping along the little aluminum? pipes from the transmission; the ones running parallel to the ground. Also wet in the around the exhaust in vicinity of the skid plate. After wiping it all down, I had my wife start the truck while I observed. To my relief...- jetflyr

Hard Start Glow Plug Relay??
Not sure about the battery age. The truck was used. I figure I will start with batt voltage. I think from another thread I saw 10v or better? Then progress on to the relay test and glow plugs. If I decide to replace the relay. Is this difficult. Is it pretty straight forward as far as...- jetflyr

Hard Start Glow Plug Relay??
Hard to start when a little cold. ('97 7.3 PSD) I am preparing to check battery voltage. Could be a possible glow plug relay? If it is, has anyone done this, $$, tech write ups other places? thanks for the help- jetflyr

Overdrive light flashing
If you have read the codes and can not afford to fix it, you may disconnect the battery for 30 minutes to clear it, or have a dealer clear it. Though if you do either you may be masking the problem, and ultimately making it worse.- jetflyr

tranny swap?
Has anyone done this? Is it $$? I believe my '97 AOD has issues with possible slipping, torque converter, etc... I have often thought of trading it out. Tranny shop did not recommend due to harnesses and what not. I think it marries up to the engine fine. It would be a matter of shift in...- jetflyr
