Could it be a sensor in the tranny or the tranny needing rebuilt. Or could the cat be plugged and when it heats it cause to much back pressure and chokes it down?- LKR Racing

I have a 99 that threw a code for the IDM and I replaced it but it is still having the same problem. The problem is that after running a while if I let of the throttle it turns the check engine light on and there is no throttle but if I put it in neutral it comes right back. Help Needed 99 F-250 Throttle response
No it is not running rough or stalling. I am getting no throttle response once I let of the throttle and put my foot back in it. If I let set for a second or two then I get the throttle back. Found a new code reader and it showed the throttle position sensor.- LKR Racing

Help Needed 99 F-250 Throttle response
My 99 f-250 7.3 looses throttle response and check engine light comes on when I lift of the throttle. I am thinking it may be the throttle pedal sensor. Originally thought it was the fuel filter. Not it. I replaced the pedal assembly about 3 years ago.- LKR Racing
