Could it be a sensor in the tranny or the tranny needing rebuilt. Or could the cat be plugged and when it heats it cause to much back pressure and chokes it down?

No it is not running rough or stalling. I am getting no throttle response once I let of the throttle and put my foot back in it. If I let set for a second or two then I get the throttle back. Found a new code reader and it showed the throttle position sensor.
My 99 f-250 7.3 looses throttle response and check engine light comes on when I lift of the throttle. I am thinking it may be the throttle pedal sensor. Originally thought it was the fuel filter. Not it. I replaced the pedal assembly about 3 years ago.
