    Throttle plate removal. I read on another website that removing the throttle off a 6.0 is being done. What does this gain,hurt or help. does anyone have some insight on the subject.

    Looking for wisdom from all who have installed alarm systems on there trucks.I'm thinking of buying a viper system with an auto start and turbo saver timer for my 2004 diesel. Is it really worth the $ for the remote start and turbo timer, or just get the basic alarm system?
