Heavy "little" 5'er there! Do they line those things with lead? I'm guessing there is a lot of honest to goodness real woodwork going on inside that rig. Is 16,500 the manufacturers GVWR or have you scaled it? We need to get the inlaw's on the scale and see how close we are to the gross...- PA 6.0

342PHT right? I really like that floorplan and am considering a Mountaineer for us when the time comes. The just brought out a 345DBQ for 08' with quad bunks and a half bath. Very sweet floorplan. How do you like the Mountaineer? Any problems? I generally hear good things about them...- PA 6.0

Here's the inlaw's rig. 2007 Fleetwood Regal 365BHTS. 39' 10" and close to 15,000 GVWR. Slightly more than the Triton sled trailer that I pull with my SRW 350! That's too embarasing to even post a picture of! His truck is an 06' XLT with the handy Tow Boss option and plenty of "custom"...- PA 6.0

What RPM does the Boss turn at 75? I know my SRW with the 3:73's runs 18-1900 at 70 or so while his is a good bit above 2000. For 6 of us the extra head is a blessing.- PA 6.0

No idea on mileage yet. The first trip was just local. When we go to Myrtle this summer that will be a real test of mileage. I figure if he gets 10 or so with the 4:30's/Torqueshift he will be doing good. I think a 6 speed manual will net you a little better. 5er is a little over 11,000 dry...- PA 6.0

With two women on board, you need as many bathrooms as you can get! The half bath is actually in the rear bunk room which is my wife/3 yr old daughter/myselfs quarters.- PA 6.0

Just thought I would post a pic or two from our maiden voyage this past weekend. This is the in-laws new Regal 365BHTS and the mighty Tow Boss. The Regal replaces a Cherokee 32B that made camping a less than desirable experience and allows plenty of room for what equates to two families...- PA 6.0

Yep, in-laws Regal made it in about 2 weeks ago, but the dealer told them right up front he needed at least a few days to go over it and make sure everything is up to par. Didn't want them rushing right down before HE could look over it first. Called and told them earlier in the week that...- PA 6.0

Congrats, I'm sure your getting excited to bring that new rig home! We go with my in-laws next Tuesday (pending a snowstorm) to pick up their new Regal 5'er. Heck, I'm excited and it isn't even mine! I've got 2-3 years till I can start shopping for one. Best of luck with the new unit.:sweet- PA 6.0

Anyone take note of the way the FCM drains now? That's a nice improvement! What's with the SRW truck in the "tail pipe" photo having the finned differential cover? Are all the 08's being equipped with this?- PA 6.0

Your FX4 Tow Boss emblem is VERY sweet. I like the fact that it looks factory and many will think it is. When I see a dually I'm always breaking my neck to check out the differential cover.
