im going to check the tubes around the turbo today for oil, and bearing play. whats the easiest way to check the tailpipe for oil? just check the exit? or should i detach from downpipe or what?- patshea098

oil is white with a light tint of blue but mostly white id say. um i wanna say it smells like burnt oil or something...not so much coolant. but like i siad when in the shop my oil was donw 2 quarts!! but agina....2 months ago when this first started my coolant was low....so what are the odds...- patshea098

ok well ive checked my coolant, and no oil spotting, the white smoke seems to of gotten worse. when i come to a stop sometimes the white smoke is blown by my window by wind and i feel like is smell oil so would this indicate oil into the cylinders via bad injector cups? or still leave it...- patshea098

Battery Drainage?
I have interstate megatrons. alternator is fine because when i drive the batteries charge and will stay recharged as i drive constantly its only if the truck sits for like overnight do they drain where is the AIH solenoid and disconnect? i Might try that....any way to tell if its stuck "on"...- patshea098

i should add that these batteries are no less then 2 months ago....this is the third pair of batteries ive had beacuse of this problem....so it IS NOT the batteries now more suggestions :) haha- patshea098

Battery Drainage?
ok everyone, this is weird to me. Obviously something is draining my power from my batteries. If i forget to unplug my batteries after driving (like if the truck is going to sit for more than 5 hours) then the batteries get drained enough to where i cant start my truck. yes american service staiton changed my oil last, i do alot of business with them and they have never failed me and always been real great service to me so i doubt they didnt properly change my oil. yes it has seemed harder to start lately! so if i find that my coolant has oil spotting, or oil...- patshea098

does that test cost anything? also how long would it take? cause im afraid of harming my engine, does it sound like if i drive around a little still that i could really damage my engine or does it seem minor at this point? lastly is there anything i can do myself at this time to check some...- patshea098

im not extremely mechaniclly inclined, so is there anything i can do to check these myself easily? i just dont have alot of cash to just be throwing around to figure out whats wrong with it and fix ya know? im just wondering why the dealership would not of noticed this problem and said something.- patshea098

alright, a month or so ago my truck began blowing some white smoke out the exhaust only upon letting off the acclerator, or under light acceleration. Then the truck wouldnt start a few days later, took it to the dealership finally and they found it was low 2 quarts of oil, filled her up checked...- patshea098

well i just thought i had read soimewhere that a cracked injector cup could leak coolant into the cylinders and causing the white smoke. but heres a new factor! got home yesterday, hung out for about 2 hours went to go out and truck started then conked out about 3 seconds later, now wont...- patshea098

but would my engine coolant being low cause this? or is it low because its leaking into the engine? if it is...wouldnt that narrow it down to a injector cup?- patshea098
