My wife wants a boat
Boat = hole in the water to throw money into.....bigger boat = bigger hole= more money.......much bigger boat (40 foot and over) well you know the formula. Been there done that.- rch

Driveline vibrations
The drive-shaft can't be balanced? BS. I'm betting that if you send the drive shaft out to a balance shop it will come back balanced and the vibration will stop.- rch

Engine Swap
You are going to spend a lot of money to do what you want. The 3126 will fit but with a lot of cutting and chopping things. Why not consider a 5.9 Cummins, there are several people doing them now. In fact why not just get rid of the truck?- rch

Why the difference in $$$
