Help Needed Oil filter cap split open
no the turbo is still good, the oil filter is the one piece design, cap and filter together, I had to go back to work (in camp) shortly after it happened, so I havent had a chance to really take a good look at things, I'll post more when I know more....I sure hope its not the high pressure pump...- Redrig

Ruff idle on start up
I had some issues with my truck a few weeks ago, idled very ruff when first starting it… I had 2 bad injectors, changed them out, runs nice and smooth now. I believe they were on there way out for some time. Code table: Diagnostic Codes P2199 thru U0306- Redrig

Blue turbo hose
I have had this problem in the past, not splitting though, just blowing off…cleaned the oil off and tightened the clamps a little better, and have not had any problems since… as for an after market replacement…I have never seen any, other than the ones that come with a complete system. Injector help...
when you did your injectors, how did you get the right side high pressure oil rail out....did you have any problems...seem too be a tube sticking out under it, giving me some trouble... **EDIT** I found what I was looking for...this may help others Page 69: Unique Service Procedures pg 69- 72- Redrig

05 F-350 SD needs new tranny...
I was thinking about maybe dropping in a 6 speed manual transmission and doing away with the automatic transmission all together... has anyone ever done this, or would it be cheaper just to buy a new truck with a 6 speed manual in it... I understand there would be quite a bit of work to...- Redrig

I bought my hood from a friend in town here, He has his own automotive shop, not sure who his supplier is but the hood is a Steal Cowl Induction From Reflexxion Automotive the first one they sent me had a dent in the front of it...I had sent it back as damaged, they sent a new one with...- Redrig

Fuel pumps???
could a guy just upgrade his fuel pump to get more fuel or do I have to upgrade the injecter aswell??? if it can be done what would be a good after-market pump...- Redrig
