The pass side rear door on my 99 X-cab won't open.
Doesn't work from either door handle, (inside the armrest or in the door jamb).
How can I open the door so I can remove the interior panel and get to the linkage?
Any help is appreciated.
ok, so I bit the bullet and drove her for a bit, (close to home though just in case)
I still haven't got her scanned but...
this past weekend, I put in a new Alliant grey CPS and kept the parts store CPS as back-up
btw, the Alliant CPS looks just like the OEM original black CPS in size...
the KAM was probably wiped out already when I had the batts disconnected, so I will probably have to have it scanned again after putting some miles on her.
Still trying to find somebody with a scanner though...
I want to run a CCT and buzz test on the injectors.
When I got home from...
I'll pull the batts and bring them down to the parts store.
I trying to avoid driving the truck until getting it scanned, if I can.
I'm going to look into changing the UVCH's
Is there an updated/improved version and if so where to buy?
I will be picking up a Ford or IH CPS and keeping this 1 as a spare.
After scanning, and any issues it reports...
I will be replacing both batteries, doing the in-tank mods for the pick-up/return lines and vent and looking at shimming the fuel press regulator.
just got done with the driverside valve cover...
Before I started, I tried crank her up but she was cranking a little slow from messing with it yesterday until dark. I hooked up a battery charger and let it charge while I worked.
I removed everything that was in the way and got the valve...
when I get home from work, I'm gonna check all fuses, (under dash and under hood), then pull the valve covers to check the UVCH connections.
I bought a parts store CPS since it was Sat night and no chance to get an OEM
I will charge the batts while working on the other stuff tonight
As...
started the truck up,let it warm up in the driveway for a few mins and nothing out of the ordinary
drove 2 miles to the gas station and put in 15gals of fuel, left the truck idling while pumping fuel, running fine
go to pull out from the station, and the idle dropped and engine stalled...
