    I bet you are looking at Firing order and not the Ford Numbering system. If you look at the GLOW plug Control module wiring you should see Even on one Head and odd on the other.

    By the way the Numbering is even on the drivers side and Odd on the Passengers.

    Been a long time since posted. 2000 SD4x4 stock very low miles. I wonder what is causing this code. One thing I have noticed is the truck usually starts quickly and now sometimes I have to crank then turn off the ignition and crank again and it starts normally. any help would be great.

    I think that what they are mostly concerned about is modified vehicles. I don't know of the statistics but I can bet you that a modified truck pollutes far more than a stock one. I like more power but there is a price to pay isn't there.

    Problem is the nearest Dealer is 1 hour away ( that one) then the next nearest is 2.5 hrs -3 hrs away. what a frikin pain. What would make somone do this. You can see from the smudge on the electrical connector that someone pulled that off not too long ago.

    So now I wonder why I had it in the Dealer specifically for this in January and the old part is still installed, and the invoice says replaced part number F7TZ-12K073-B " sensor camshaft" "Warranty" By the way the dealer did not want to do anything until the problem occured again...
