    I went with the garrett 38r and havent looked back. however I also am still foghting an egt problem, due a stock intercooler and lots of mods. This has been discussed in another thread, and am saving for a spearco. You how ever should be ok and extremely impressed.

    Possible PCM (Powertrain Control Module) Problem?

    Just my two cents worth but I dont think your PCM is the culprit. Ive had similar issues with just one bad battery, or possiable bad glow plugs, or glow plug relay. Food for thought.

    Yea the Whistlermakes a huge difference. And I count myself extremely lucky that it only spit the one wheel against the wastegate flap.

    Died on me this morning

    My 2001 took a very similar fit when the injector driver module went out. Took forever to track it down. The IDM RARELY ever sets a code for future reference. When I had the CPS problem it would leave a temporary loss of signal code. Just something to check.
