I've never had any experience with Pro Comp brand lifts so I can't say anything about them. Back when I had my '01 F350, I had 2 different brands of lifts on it. First one was a Fabtech 5.5" lift and the second one was a Superlift Select Series 6" lift. The Fabtech lift sagged to about a 4" lift...
Its not as bad as you think. There's no need to whack a hole in the floorboard. There already is a hole there but it has a plate that is bolted in place covering up the hole. All 4WD Superduty pickups have this whether they have ESOF or not. Personally, I'd rather have the manual shift tcase...
My grandfather taught me how to rebuild a carburetor at the age of 5. By the time I was 9, he had me rebuilding engines by myself. He taught me everything he knew all the way up until the day he died in 1988. I sometimes use the things he taught me still to this day.
