the track bar locates the axle centrally under the vehicle. it allows for verical movement but not lateral. if that weld broke going up or down that curb.. the axle could have shifted laterally and therefore casue the separation of the tie rod end from the center link.
form overhead... look between the brake master cylinder and the coolant reservoir... looking down at the hydraulic lines that come from the power steering pump to the hydraulic brake booster. mine had become loose and began to leak. it was a simple fix for me as i was just able to retighten...
I bought the rough country 4.5" lift adding on the front dual stabilizer kit, rear add a leaf, and 6" lift pitman arm.
Being that this is my first truck... and this rough country was the first lift ive ever bought... i had a great experience with the install. the ride quality is great.. if not...
there are many repairs 6.4 specific which require cab removal... i know the most common is for a fuel line.
if anything.... check into extended warranty coverage
...i noticed your avatar picture.. you have a smoke switch installed, correct? is it possible your switch may have shorted and caused a problem? ive heard of the diesel fuel filling the cylinder story several times.. so id check that... and make sure and change your oil right after you fix...
...yea, ive heard of stories from guys on this site that stated upon removing the intercooler, they were able to pour anywhere from 1 to 3 quarts of oil out of the intercooler. im sure mine is the same way because my couplers are soaked in oil.
haha... your clutch slips too? mine does on my 6.0 on a performance tune. ive been thinkin about the EGR delete kit myself... good to hear that you can notice an instant difference. thats important to me... in any mod i do.
...went to florida this past weekend... mid 70s in temps... and what do you know... no dead miss for me on cold start. this morning... in the 40s... and a dead miss.
