What parts do I need when replacing injectors and glow plugs?

I'm gonna replace the injectors in my 2001 with a set of 50hp split shots. When replacing injectors, might as well do the glow plugs too. But what are all the harnesses I need? I know I need the valve cover gaskets and injector harness. But is there anything else? Does anyone have the Ford or International numbers for the gaskets and harnesses I need?

valve cover gaskets/injector/glow plug harnesses are re-useable.

Good thing, they're like $130. bucks per side...

I've heard stories that its best to replace the harnesses when doing the glow plugs and injectors, but maybe they are just stories???? Has anyone replaced the harness or vc gaskets when doing the above work?

If you're digging in that far, I would at least put the little clips on the UVC harnesses that Ford makes to keep those from coming unplugged.

I am doing the same. I changed the UVC Harness because they are know form going out. Also good idea to change the plugs.

Usually, International is maybe 1/3 the cost of Ford. So I don't need to tell you which place to go.

Thanks for all the replys guys. I'd feel more comfortable replacing the harnesses too. Also, thanks JonH, those numbers will come in very handy since I haven't found them yet.
