    Hypertech power programmer???

I'm using a Hypertech programmer. I leave it on the max setting most of the time. I researched tuners about 4 years ago and there was a test in Diesel Tuner magazine that showed the Hypertech on top and it kept the EGT's at a safe level all the time. I'm very happy with it but at some point I...

    Installing cab lights

Ha! Ha! Yea, I know it will look like a Chevy in the dark! I would like to see what a SD looks like with them mounted.

    Installing cab lights

Anybody running these?? I'm starting to like the looks of the bigger center light. Where's the cheapest place to buy a factory harness? 1999-2010 Ford F-450/550 Putco Pure LED Cab Lights | Mushroom Lamps | Mushroom Table Lamps | Mushroom Lamp | MushroomLamps.com

    Installing cab lights

Do a search here and you will find lots of folks that have (I plan on it this summer). There are templates and measurements and all kinds of tips.

    smaller mirrors vs bigger ones

I put 08 mirrors on my '01. They will fit 99's on up. Direct bolt on. Love 'em.

    Pontiac's Obituary

1984 Fiero was one of the best cars i have ever owned. I'm going to get another one day and stuff a 6.0L in it. Folks have put motors as large as 455's in them. Cool, safe cars.

Found the roll pin 3/4's of the way out and one o-ring. Picking up new parts at dealership tomorrow and I'll see what's on them factory fresh.

    Clutch goes to the floor

I'm busy as crap so I don't have time to devote the rest of my evening to the truck as I have many other vehicles to drive/ride but I just determined that there is a roll pin that retains the line coming from the slave cylinder into the bottom of the clutch master cylinder. It had vibrated over...

    Clutch goes to the floor

Hmmmm. It looks to be just pushed in sort of in a quick disconnect manner so I think you are correct. Seems low-budget to me at best. I haven't performed any work in that area at all so I haven't hit it or bumped it so I guess it just vibrated off!?!?!? I snapped it back in but the pedal is...

    Clutch goes to the floor

Found my problem. Never noticed any fluid anywhere at all. Res is still full. How does the line to the slave cylinder supposed to be attached to the bottom of the clutch master cylinder? As I pulled the slave cylinder to check it (it and the fork seem fine) the whole line came down on me. Can't...

    Clutch goes to the floor

Zoom ZVT Ceramic clutch that's in it now came with a revised fork and pivot so I'm thinking that would be good still. Master cylinder arrives tomorrow afternoon so I'll swap that and see what happens. Probably time for a new one anyways at 200K.

    Clutch goes to the floor

It dried out some but towing my boat (around 6500# dry) it would slip when I got on it some. The one in it now is a Zoom Ceramic. I'm pretty sure the fork has been replaced.

    Clutch goes to the floor

Hitting 200K but I have already put two clutches in it due to fuel leaks in the valley so the stock one is long gone. I need to check and see if a new fork was provided with either of them. One was a Zoom.

    Clutch goes to the floor

I'm going to assume it's the clutch master cylinder and order one so I can get it here faster. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. $95 plus tax from the dealer.

    Clutch goes to the floor

Just babied it home after planning my route carefully and sliding it into gear when the speed was right. Pushed the clutch in and it went all the way to the floor. Slave res is full. Any suggestions?? Electrical part works still as I had to start out in 1st gear when I had to stop all the way.

    Diesel prices

I think it's because "they" know that every single thing we consume needs diesel to get to us and the money they can make is astronomical. It went up right after I bought mine. Great timing!

Well, I did a search and read for the last hour or so. Bob Riley's info was very good. However, if my oil in the crankcase and on the dipstick stays clean as new why is the oil in my HPOP reservoir still black and nasty. I agree that it will take a fair amount of oil to change out the oil in the...

OK. Changed oil last night. Changed full flow filter out with an Oil Guard filter. Changed bypass filter also. Sucked out top end oil as described above. Drove it maybe 30 miles. Got home and sucked almost 3 qts. of black, very thin oil out. Continued to change it out with fresh oil. Dipstick is...

    Cab lights installed!

And if there isn't factory wiring can you buy just the harness from the dealer for the lights and plug and play? I would buy the lights themselves elsewhere just curious about the wiring aspect. Could just make my own I reckon.

    Cab lights installed!

Is there a factory wiring harness in every truck regardless if it came with lights from the factory?? I want to put some on mine eventually.

Yea, I guess I really just wanted to see what the oil looked like with my own eyes. It really can't hurt to swap it out so I figured what the heck. I know the opinions swing widely from one side to the other on the whole topic. My Mity-Vac did a great job of getting it out. It was easy to do...
