    05-07 Grille upgrade on 99-03

Maaco painted my truck :) They also did about 2 hours of body work. They added more metallic flake to the paint, at no cost. They did a pretty nice job for only $1500. Not bad for custom paint! I can't speak for ALL the shops, but I gladly recommend the one here!

You can turn any garage or shop into a home made paint booth. Put up some plastic to keep the dust out and the paint in. You have a white truck so I'm pretty sure it'd be an easy job if you got the paint code. You could rent a sprayer for pretty cheap. Or just check around with your local...

    05-07 Grille upgrade on 99-03

When I was at the drawing table for my truck's cosmetic makeover, I was in the market for a new hood. It was on my list of "things to get" but I spent money in other places and it didn't work out. So far, out of the selection of hoods I searched for, this one was my favorite. Kind of expensive...

    05-07 Grille upgrade on 99-03

So...I took a few pics. Unfortunately, i have too much goin on to see anything informative. My brush guard and winch were too much in the way. The bottom corners of my grille are notched to accommodate my front bumper. However, the chrome bar on the bottom WAS cut in half, I hadn't really...

    05-07 Grille upgrade on 99-03

No, I bought the truck with it done. I'll snap a couple pics and work my less-than-adequate computer skills magic to try and get them posted on here for ya. :D :D Ps. This just crossed my mind. It was also modified to fit with my winch, so it might be slightly different than I explained...

    05-07 Grille upgrade on 99-03

When I painted my truck all perty I was almost tempted to take off my ARB winch bumper and go with the stock 05 chrome bumper. I really like how clean they look. BUT...I figured that as soon as I did that, I'd actually need the winch. :dunno

    Wasn't Thinking!!

This is definitely GREAT info that needs to be published in a more public place. I have feared this before, and I absolutely NEVER let anyone else drive my truck for fear they'll accidentally do the same thing. I know 2 people who did this and because they didn't know, they both trucks ended...

Check this one out. You could try the "Make an Offer" button. I've gotten some sweet deals using it before. I'd check to make sure everything you need is in the kit though. 2005 2006 F250 F350 GRILLE SUPERDUTY GRILL CONVERSION: eBay Motors (item 310187468007 end time Oct-04-10 14:36:22 PDT)

My truck is a '99 with an '05 grille conversion :) I believe Nazty4X4 installed it. Or had it installed, either one. He might know more about it. I agree though. That grille is hot!

How would my truck do with stock size tires?

How would the my transmission respond to it? Less weight = easier work is my logic. Yes/no?

How would my truck do with stock size tires?

Fuel economy would go down? I guess that makes sense. Low end torque seems like it would increase. Is that an accurate statement?

How would my truck do with stock size tires?

I've had this on my mind for a while. I was wondering how my truck would perform if I chose to go back to regular-ish size tires. I have 38's now, with 4.56 gears, front/rear I'm considering the tire change after this winter season. I didn't buy a big@$$ truck for nothin. hahaha. I'd...

    Is there a "better" starter/7.3

Rammertide, after this whole conversation, your problem sounds so much like a terminal connection problem. With the extra wires coming off your terminals, do you have sufficient contact between the post and the connenction? I know that sounds too easy, but I've kicked myself before for not...

    Is there a "better" starter/7.3

If everything else checks good...I'd say trying it's worth a shot. Usually starters just go out instantly, not over time. At least mine always have. :dunno

    Grille options??

The 2nd one looks better to me, but I know what ya mean about makin yours stand out. I'm the same way. That's what makes it yours :) Personally, I'd want to keep my big truck looking different than the smaller models so that someone doesn't get it mixed up with one.
