    2001 ZF6 wouldn't shift into gear

Cheaper to start there. Since with engine off everything shifts normal it makes me think master and/ or slave cylinders.

    Mystery plug for programmer

The programmers and monitors usually plug in to the OBD II port under the dash to the right of the column. That is some aftermarket harness I'm guessing. Probably a good idea to know where it goes. Can you contact the previous owner?

    tailgate seal kit opinions advice

My tailgate has plenty of room around it actually. Oh, well. I expect dust on a dusty road. Seems to stay on the outside though now that I think about it.

    tailgate seal kit opinions advice

I've never used one so I can't help. This will at least bump it up for you. :goodluck I just put a Truxedo X15 on my truck but no seal kit. I haven't been on a dry dirt road with it yet so I don't know how much dust I'll get. Usually the top will be rolled up with my quad in the back anyway.

    New to Diesel - Questions

Instead of cleaner I would research what fuel conditioner works for the 6.7. I use Power Service/ Diesel Kleen in my 6.0 and I used it with my old 7.3 IDI. In Michigan you'll want something for the winter for anti-gel like we do here in Idaho. Power Service has worked for me very well so far...

Question What did you do to your truck today?

Had the tranny serviced in June and wouldn't you know it got a new oil cooler and the EGR cooler went missing?? Next to be put on is the Sinister Diesel Coolant Filter.

I'll beat Dave to it, did you get it scanned? Imperative with these motors.

Question CK-4 Rating Okay for the 6.0?

Exchanged the CK-4 Delo for some Rotela T6 today at Wally World. Heading out now to change it and the fuel filters. Also, bought the fuel pump/filter drain plug replacement to make that job easier in the future. :sweet

    Doing Some Baseline Maintenance

I saw that the CK-4 rating is a no go and Delo 5W-40 400LE looks to be discontinued. Exchanged the new Delo for Rotela T6 today and heading out to change it. I hate it when something that works and you trust gets discontinued.

Question CK-4 Rating Okay for the 6.0?

I want to stick with the 5W-40 Synthetic. I can get Rotella T6 and Mobil 1 at Walmart today. I will be needing to change the oil tomorrow it looks like. I don't remember what my NAPA has on hand. Suggestions there in the mean time?

    Help Needed 6.0 no start

I'm nowhere near a mechanic so I won't be much help. I always start with having my mechanic do the Ford scan tool to see whats gong on. Too many things to chase with parts. sounds like you took care of any cranking problems unless your batteries don't have enough CCAs.

Question CK-4 Rating Okay for the 6.0?

I asked this in another thread of mine in the 6.0 Engine and Drivetrain forum. Just bought Delo 400 XSP 5W-40 synthetic since the Delo 400 LE 5W-40 synthetic seems to be discontinued. The XSP is the CK-4 rated but says it is fine for the CJ-4 rating and all other applications. I'm assuming it's...

    Doing Some Baseline Maintenance

I'm due for a change in about 200 miles and it looks like the Delo 400 LE is no longer made but the replacement is Delo 400 XSP and is the new CK-4 rated but says on the website and the jug that it is fully compatible with the earlier ratings such as CJ-4. I just bought 4 gallons at Wally World...

    Help Needed 6.0 no start

Sounds to me a thorough scan is needed unless someone here is familiar with this issue.
