    Picked one up on the way home from church today at NAPA. They said it's made by Stant and I get a discount through the school district. Cost me $5 and change. Can't hurt.

    Just watched a video about the degass bottle cap can lose it's spring tension. That could cause problems. I just might replace mine as a preventive measure. Stant was the brand the shop uses. It has a much bigger spring and housing to maintain the 16 PSI.

    Awesome. I was almost worried I used the wrong oil.:( I know there is a 5W-30 as well as 5W-40 synthetic. Summer/winter do you think there will be a difference between the two grades?

    Yeah, I do like to to hear the turbo and the feel of the but-o-meter when it boogies down the road. I want some economy but I get on it periodically to keep things "lubricated!":D

    So are you using the 5W-30 now or the 5W-40? I wasn't sure which one caused the surging. The 40 could cause a problem? I guess Delo has both viscosities. I haven't noticed any changes yet but I'm heading up the river to fly fish Saturday so some highway time should show any problems.

    Oil done today. I was wrong on the oil numbers. It's 5W-40 Delo 400 LE Synthetic. Could have sworn it was 5W-30. Done now. Oil was $17.96 a gallon at Wal-Mart. Didn't feel too bad about that.

    Overdue update. Turned out the EGR was all full of carbon. Truck had not been ran hard enough. Good for me. Runs great since the cleaning.
