    6.0L Egr removal P0401 P0404

No, there is a egr monitor that checks flow. It uses iat2 and ebp to check for flow mainly among other sensor inputs and would be complex to fool the pcm. This is where the custom tune come in handy!

Good to hear, simple fix to ignore that monitor so it doesn't set a dtc.

6.4l Serpentine belt chirp noise fix

So I checked we had both versions of the belt and they look the same nothing special except the extra slippery backing. Oh and the new belt is only $37 now! Also in case you haven't heard Ford Motorcraft parts now come with a 24 month UNLIMITED MILES warranty. Here is the pics of the belts. Look...

    6.0L Egr removal P0401 P0404

I don't get into the aftermarket stuff but I do know you need and aftermarket tuner/programmer to bypass that emissions monitor with a custom calibration.

6.4l Serpentine belt chirp noise fix

The way your describing it I would check into the revised idler pulley and think about that ford belt. I know when they first revised it the belt was very slippery new and was called a improved coating for noise. If I remember right though the newest one has rough backside to it like the belts...

6.4l Serpentine belt chirp noise fix

The roller lifter noise generally happens when hot, so hopefully that is not your noise. Since the fan is so large on the diesel engines, I generally uses a garden hose on the belt engine running to get enough water in there, the fan kinda blows away the spray bottle stuff. Sorry bout that. The...

6.4l Serpentine belt chirp noise fix

As stated the tsb with the new idler and belt hardly fixes the issue put a good flashlight down in there and check for that cocked belt tensioner where the belt is not riding in the exact center tensioner pulley.

6.4l Serpentine belt chirp noise fix

You sure its not the roller lifters? The cam is in that general area. I have not hear of a chirp being caused by the fan pulley not on a 6.4l anyway. There would have to be a decent wobble. While the belts were off did you check the pulled for grinding and excessive play? If it is happening...

    Diagnostic Help Needed!

Oh now come on why are people on forums such jerks! First of all the code you speak of p0132 is a gas engine generic obd 2 code. Secondly he said it was a p132b code which is Vgt actuation specific so yes sticking of turbo is suspect, but there are many possibilities. I see you have the special...

6.4l Serpentine belt chirp noise fix

One of my best repair videos. Here is the most common concern I see and the REAL fix, there is a tsb from ford on changing idler pullies, I have never seen that work. New belt and tensioner fixes them everytime. The other thing that sounds like a belt chirp on these unfortunately is the roller...

    Changing those pesky fuel filters

While much easier than the 6.0l and 6.4l, I made a video anyway highlighting some areas to make this job hassle free to keep these rigs on the road. The 6.4l and 6.7l are very picky about their fuel supply and this will ensure proper clean fuel is delivered on a constant basis. Hope my video...
