    What do you all think???

Kyle, I feel for you son - love can be tough at times. From what I can figure, both of you are young - sounds like she is just getting out of high school. This comes down to a case of being mature. You may be further along than she is. There may also be parental choice in here also. You...

    SP Diesel

As I said I beta tested for them. So let me just say this - the power was equal to Edge that I was running at the time. But when it came down to what I was going to run long term - I went with Quadzilla. They have a towing module that may fit your bill for what looks like a cost less than...

    Replacements on the PSD

Sorry for the delay here – had my 29th wedding anniversary and had to spend time away from the ole computer. So anyway – 02 models. Here you’re looking at a 7.3 – good long run on this motor. Items to note would be the CPS (carry a spare) and possible oil leak around the turbo...

    How unreliable are these 6.0's?

SF, Most of what you read is in the early 03 first year runs. I have an 04 and it's only had the standard recalls. And they were done when I felt like it - saved them all up and did them together. Ford is not dumping the 6.0 cause they want to - most of it is the Fed Regs - but remember -...

    SP Diesel

I have been over to their place, met both of them and did some beta testing for them. Nice guys and all - trying to do things right - and it's just the two of them trying to do everything from secretary to design - but I do think they lack in the keeping in contact department. Ron

    Replacements on the PSD

Best thing to do is to tell us what year you are looking at - lot easier to narrow things down. As a general rule though - taking the VIN number to a Ford dealer and having them run an Oasis report is always a smart move. Ron

I think the one I have is more oily - I'll get some pics when I get done today. My 01 never looked like these - Ron

    Nasty Fuel Filter

How many miles did you have on yours? It's unknown on this truck - but I've changed a lot of filters and never saw one like this. Then again I change them out at the most every 10K Ron

    Nasty Fuel Filter

Was going to post this in the 97 section - but then thought maybe others have run across this. Anyway - picked up a 97 F350 that's for my company. Got around to changing the oil and fuel filters today. When I pulled the fuel filter - it was black as coal. Felt it - feels like oil to me...

I'm Really On The Fence With This 06E17

My personal thoughts are that we are always going to have EGR fouling problems unless a radical design change is made. I saw the valve when they changed my out the one time and I don't see any two ways around it - diesel soot and a spring type valve is just going to clog. I have resigned...

    need help

If the truck was newer I'd say go back and argue with the dealer - but it's just a case of someone took yours off. All of the connectors will be there for you as it did come with one. I guess I would just stop by a dealer and get one - no splicing or rigging. Make sure to get the bolt to...

I met Louie - I was parked right next to him at the 2004 PowerFest in Indy. Nice guy, great truck - and I picked up a handful of those emblems from him at the time. Ron

    850hp,14 inches in diameter,150lb engine.

I'd like to see more of this thing. They said they put it in a Ford Fusion. 850 HP Diesel or Bio-Diesel B-20 - will run on 100% Soy No oil when running diesel -as the fuel lubes the motor can piggy back it for double the HP 800 ft lbs of torque at 800 rpm Way cool - Ron

    Tires for 18" wheels

Are those stock rims? I wanted the ProComps - but mounting a 13" wide tire on a stock 8" rim just didn't seem right to me. Ron

    Tires for 18" wheels

Yeah - And looking at that tire - I would call it a road tire and it surely would not work in the mud of say a jobsite. Here is the tire that came on my truck: http://tinyurl.com/qkvd2 Ron

    Tires for 18" wheels

I would be interested to know exactly which Toyo tire it is. I spent a little over 3 weeks looking at every single tire maker. Granted I was looking for an AT tire and not a street tire - I did not find any AT Toyo tire with an E rating that would fit a stock rim correctly. Let us know what...
