I'll take a look. Still in the 70's right now so it'll be a few weeks. Just wanted some input. Thank you! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Help Needed How to use the block heater

Okay, so before anyone starts laughing, us Floridians aren't super experienced with cold weather parts on vehicles. My 2001 7.3 has a block heater, as it was used up north. I have never used one, and wanted to make sure there's nothing to look out for. Being the truck is on original glow plugs...

Help Needed EBPV Brake DIY Questions

So I've seen several videos of people wiring their EBPV to a switch, in order to use it as an exhaust brake. Everyone says it's very simple to do, BUT I've yet to see a decent instructional video. So here's a few questions I have: 1. Will this work on 7.3's with an automatic transmission? Every...

    Looking for SCT tuner

Howdy! I currently have a TS 6 position chip on my 2001 PSD. Performance, ease of use, and economy are outstanding. HOWEVER... it causes all kinds of issues with the wait to start light, and I hate the shift point adjustment. I've heard a lot of great things about SCT tuners. If anyone has one...

photos '01 Superduty for '96 OBS?

I'm also running 0.030 in the miller and can slow down the feed speed quite a bit. I'm considering just using Bondo and taking my time with it. Or fiberglassing it Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

I have a Millermatic 210 Mig welder. Just not a ton of experience welding in sheet metal. I guess it's worth looking into! Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

Thank you so much for the input. I have decided at this point to walk from that deal. He began playing games and I felt like with all of your advice it was wisest for me to avoid it. I will take some pictures of the rust tomorrow. The rear suicide doors have been completely bondo-ed by the...

photos '01 Superduty for '96 OBS?

I appreciate the response. I'm not stuck on the OBS by any means. But as of now, I'm not financially in the position to purchase a newer truck, so trading is my only option. I would consider a 6.0l if bulletproofed, but nobody is going to trade a modified 6.0 for a 7.3, and I don't have the cash...

photos '01 Superduty for '96 OBS?

I have a 2001 F250 4x4 extended cab, 7.3l. 4 inch lift, 35 inch toyos, 4 inch turbo back straight pipe to a 9 inch stack. GTP38r turbo with stage 2 wicked wheel, TS chip, and some other basic mods, but nothing fancy. 230k on engine/trans/body without any rebuilds that I'm aware of. Under a...

Question A/C Not Working on 2001 F250 PSD

It is 4x4, however, it's a straight axle with manual locking hubs, so no vacuum lines there. The fan absolutely does not turn on when I turn on the switch. The only vacuum line going to the fan motor connects below and to the right of it, and it is connected firmly. Thought about being the...

Question A/C Not Working on 2001 F250 PSD

Nope. Nothing. I changed the resistor and today, pulled out the fan and hooked it to a 12v battery source. It ran just fine. Had it running in the truck, but seemed weak. I went to move my truck out of my shop and it wouldn't turn on again. Seems like a loose connection, but I've gone through...

Question A/C Not Working on 2001 F250 PSD

I was originally confused on how to hook up the jumper wires. Just put them inside the wiring harness on the terminals or what? How do I know which is positive and negative? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

Question A/C Not Working on 2001 F250 PSD

I'm at a total loss now... I've changed the resistor and checked every single fuse in the truck. I wouldn't think it's the switch because the AC was on and then suddenly stopped, without adjusting the switch at all. Any other ideas? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
