    Put er back together after welding it up and she runs like a top. I'll bet that because I didn't use locktite and just a small wrench to put on the driveshaft last time that the bolts worked themselves out and that was the vibration and that's what caused it...we'll see though. Jesse

    It already is a 4R100, so no conversion needed there. I thought the cracks went into the case, but they stay in the bellhousing right over the pump plate and actually go all the way down to the dipstick...I almost ripped the bell off! I am dropping it off at a welding shop tonight. Jesse

    BTS and all the good companies are too far away. I never said it was rebuilt, I said I pulled the trans after 30k to replace the converter and then drove it another 2k and replaced the wore out u-joints and the u-joint yoke and flange (basically all parts that connect to the front of the shaft)...

    I think if I cut a groove into one side and then set the trans on it's bellhousing with tailshaft up and let it rest back to it's original position and then weld that side...then grind the back side and weld it...I might be ok. BUT...two things A) might only be able to weld the exterior once it...
