2007 f250 6.0 died while driving
1st...this is a guess, assuming batteries are charged and the fuel pump is running (and your fuel filters are clean & the HFCM has been drained of water)... your model year is indicative of a problem w/ the HPOP connector <leak down> (2005-2007 trucks were affected) your dealer...- bushpilot

What's the labor rates in your areas?
10yrs ago the suburban houston rate for the ford dealer was more than 90 bucks an hour ! and in 2004 when i purchased our SD/350 the rates at the <EXTREMELY RURAL> winchester virginia shop were 90 bucks ! I think the houston dealers get 130 - 140 an hour now. tomball ford has a "VARIBLE"...- bushpilot

Question Where can I run my amp wire thru the firewall?
I like Roosters Idea.... I ran mine thru the rubber firewall plugs pictured. I came up thru the floor for my trans temp feed... if your gonna run wire under the cab make, even if it IS thru the frame rail make SURE your put it in some kinda protective conduit. its a little easier...- bushpilot

Did the Rasberry ants do it?
the come seeking WATER ! apparently theyre also drawn toward warmth (electrical boxes). We've had 'em invade an electrical box at the back of the neighborhood...not far from one of the flood ponds... the electrical box supplies power to a flood pump :o ill get some photos so yall can...- bushpilot

EGR NO MORE!!!
depends on the year and the emmissons build. beginning in 2004 california (carb) trucks tripped the light (egr is emmisions related)....i can unplug mine (non california/carb) and although it wont trip the SES/CEL it will set codes. Ive NEVER been re-flashed.- bushpilot

Help Needed HELP WITH COOLANT FILTER INSTALL
FWIW i had no problem installing mine (admittedly i own a 6.0l) and ive had it installed over 65k miles w/out any sign of wear/tear or any other problem. Personally i think EVERYONE should be running one of these...worst case...its cheap insurance...best case it gets the crap outta the...- bushpilot

I almost did it!
you cant beat the utility and convenience of a pick up truck. I'd just made good use of mine yesterday by hauling home a new 4000psi pressure washer...and today im gonna haul the same pressure washer to a "job" thats gonna net me 1/2 the cost of the newly aquired pressure washer...let...- bushpilot

tight budget or not...i could not wanna be monitoring an expensive motor and tranny w/ CHEAP anything. buy one gauge at a time if your money is tight...or save up until you can buy the good ones.- bushpilot

thanks guys ! that one isnt our actual car...but its the exact model and color...ours is in the shop being repainted...25 year old car paint was lookin' kinda "beat"....the intended use is that its gonna be a the KIDS "shared" car for them to run back and forth to school etc when they start...- bushpilot
