makes ya wonder why they stopped offering the 3.55 option (99-07) we know why theyve resumed the 3.55 (now standard) w/ the 08's i mean if these trucks could pull w/ a 3.55 why on earth did55 they delete the 3.55 even as a choice ! question...was the 3.55 available in a ltd. slip ?- bushpilot

What is fuel costing you?
those home loans were OFFERED...to people that couldnt PAY... no one MADE them take 100% or 120% financing...in more cases than not those BAD mortage loans were given to GREEDY folks that were BETTING on RAPID increases in home values (and thats in a BEST case senario)...most just plain...- bushpilot

guess i dont know what the big deal is...i pulled mine off the pos tether a long time ago...i sit the cap on the bed rail, fill up and put the cap back on ! havent scratched my paint, forgotten my cap & i havent risked rusting my fuel cover door by drilling it out either.- bushpilot

so whats your point ??? its no secret that the trucks havent been moving off the lot...the only things moving off the dealer lots are HIGH MPG vehicles...how big a trailer or load do you think you can haul w/ a VW or Focus ? and i wouldnt bet w/ the price of diesel being what it is that...- bushpilot

Anti-gelling additive needed??
nope...wont do anything for anything thats fuel injected. youre kinda showing your age now...i too remember slappin' the pedal to activate the choke on old carb'd cars. the 6.0l might stumble at 1st, some have reported a stall and then a restart but shouldnt take more than that....below...- bushpilot

you realize that if they want it bad enough they wont have to go thru the fuel cap...the tanks are plastic...and theyve been punching holes in the bottom of 'em to drain 'em. fuel stolen by punching/drilling tanks as they say...locks only keep honest people honest :sly- bushpilot
