    changed the ball joints today and figured out the pop is most likely coming from the gear box. it doesn't surprise me, but just aggrivates me. checked out the radius arm bushings while i was in there and they looked fine.

    2wd. i lifted up the front of the truck and came to the conclusion that my lower ball joints are in bad shape, but i have never heard ball joints pop like that. if i turn or drive over a small rock or something the damn thing pops. maybe not every single time, but close to it.

    this is true. my engine has 265000 miles on it right now and i just threw in some stage 1's and it's running way better than any stock truck i have driven. i did have to upgrade the clutch and stuff, but no big deal. our engines are good to run way more miles than that. LoL

    ok. i took the tranny out last night and i still can't figure out what is causing it to blow slave cylinders.. i'm taking the clutch and everything out today and replacing the clutch fork, hydrolics, and all the clutch stuff. Does anyone know how to replace the bearing retainer on these things?
