I'm with you on that Joe, it is better here, Im not sure if its paranoia or.. what? Do you think that its possible that all the trouble with the cps's going out unexpectedly over the past few years could be due to the weaker strength in the magnet? It would be interesting to know if this...

glow plug controller smoking

I had a 6.9 a couple of years ago, and i finally got rid of the controller, the wiring harness for the controller just wore out/ shorted out what ever. I cant remember exactly how it goes but if you do a search you can probably find the diagram for just putting a push button to activate the glow...

Blue CPS

any updates to the blue cps "mod" Ive read all 24 pages over at the other site, seems like, well to me any way that the stronger magnet in the blue one is maybe responsible for a cleaner stronger signal, any thoughts about that. Any tangible proof on if it advances or retards the timing at all...?

My last truck was a 6.9er

6.9 I bought a 1983 f-250 6.9 in '85, it had 13000 miles on it. I kept it for 19 LONG years. Ive never been so glad to sell a truck in my whole life. I kick my self every time I get into my 99 cause I didnt buy a newer truck years ago. It went through 3 injection pumps, not entirely the trucks...
