    It all depends. Some guys run it and still can tell a difference, others not so much. If you already have a tuner though, it aint worth it. The tuner pretty much does what the 10k mod's gonna do.

    Yeah, that's how they are, but I know a guy that has a 97 OBS and said that it actually run better when the ambient temp. outside is around 40-55.

    Talk to Strokin_Tasch. he did a 22k resistor. Not sure what he got as far as gains. He's up on that mod. Good luck. But no, I don't think you'll get the same results with just a 18k resistor.

    ok, thanks for the info. The 10k mod can give you more power as it dumps more fuel into the motor correct?? And I understand that the shim just insures that there's enough pressure to supply the injectors. Will that give you more power too?? Thanks for all the help.

    sounds about right. I have a class 5 hitch and run a solid steel 6 in. drop to tow my 10000lb skidloader. The hitch frame is rated at 12000lb, and the reciever at 12000lb. You probably do have a 2.5 in. reciever hole, like the others said.
