    Question stock trans temp gauge

    The stock gauge is junk. My aftermarket trans gauge can show less than 100* and the stock gauge on the dash shows to be in the mid-range. It doesn't sound like there is anything to fix. Are you having trans problems? The trans temp function that you are describing sounds normal.

    Is that 160 for new or rebuilds? I have no idea what the dollar conversion is, but I bought rebuilt calipers for $60 each about 6 months ago.

    You should get better mileage than that. My commute is 50/50 hwy/city and I get 38mpg. 1995 Saturn SL1. Manual trans. SOHC. Wish I would have picked up one sooner. I have had mine 4 weeks. Paid $1500. In pretty dang good shape for a 13 year old car. My truck has been driven about 10...

    Leak on the Driveway

    The place to start looking is at the front end of the top of the engine. The leak will follow gravity down the back of the engine. There are several spots that can be leaking. Fuel/water seperator drain valve? Turbo pedestal o-rings? And other things. I am still trying to track...

    You have a leak somewhere or something is hooked up wrong. I have the DPTuner and register up to 24 psi of boost when really getting into it.

    Just a question...Did you use Auto Trans Fluid or Power Steering Fluid? The first time the fluid level was low, I used PSF w/o reading the manual. The noise did not completely go away until I put in ATF.

    I do not have the overhead computer on my truck. I have read many times on these boards that the MPG readings tend to be way off after a chip has been put on.

    Are you running stock size tires? If not, has the computer been updated? The MPG computer seems to lose its mind once a chip/program has been put on the truck.

    Leak on top of engine

    There is leakage around this fitting where it goes in to the valve cover. The leak could be somewhere else. I am just starting at the front and working my way back.

    Leak on top of engine

    I have a leak on top of the engine. I have replace the orings on the fuel drain valve. I have cleaned the area up as much as possible to try and find out where the leak is coming from. I think that it may be leaking from the hose in the pic below. How do I fix this?

    Aftermarket springs or Ford X codes? Not bad for X codes and u-bolts, if this is what he is offering. Umm...after more thought, what kind of truck do you have? This would be helpful.
