    lol. i appreciate it snowman.... i thought i might be able to fix it by cleaning out the valve body. i only made it worse if that is possible. well, i always wanted to put a good converter in it. now i get to along with a tranny.

    dont worry about it... got a subscription online... my guess was right but transmission is still f**ked. the rear wheels wanna lock up when shifting to 2nd. oh well. i was hoping cleaning the valve body out might fix it but still does it. i even went back, removed the shift kit... still no go...

    well, i put a bottle of cetane booster and 1qt or tcw3 in. seemed like it quieted up after a few minutes of driving down the road. even my wife noted it seemed quieter. dunno. still plan to check the fuel pressure somehow.

    i think its just the srpings which means more payload pretty much. i have used both f250s and f350s for work and both have pulled the same heavy trailers with no difference in performance. others may chime in for the correct answer.

    hooah. i run the valvoline deisel oil. the bottle says formulated for cummins but oh well. working good so far. i plan to switch to a synthetic soon, just not sure which one yet.

    just curious, we used to use dexron trans fluid when doing fuel filter swaps on our construction equip and big deisels. it this a nono to the powerstrokes? should i try it? i did it once on a non turbo 7.3 to help prime the system and worked well. dunno. any thoughts?
