    look at the tranny pan draw the shape out and count the bolts. bring the info to NAPA and they should be able to match the pan to a tranny, if ya narrow the options to only a few....

    if you go underneat your truck (while its off and cold) and try to spin the front drive shaft manuelly it will spin freely if hups are unlocked, but if there locked it wont move w/o the wheels moving... little clearer?
