    I've also got 550 I've also got 550 with same issue at 70 mph mine is turning 2800 rpm I've also been looking in to it. All I no is gear vendors is about $3500.00 & it will save you about 250 rpms. The regear the rear end to pay someone to do it. A good shop they quoted me $1700.00 Michael

    I have installed gauges on 2000 F-550 but the boost gauge only goes to about 11 psi the guy that istalled T off of the vacume line to the manifold & maf senser is this the right spot or do I have to hook it up somewhere else.:dunno

    Hey chief2 how did you find out your gearing I have a 2000 F-550 & the code for the rear gearing is K & i have checked all the ccode converters & can't figure it out. At 2500 rpms I am runnig abot 62mph thanks

    Yes the from advance auto. When you plug it in it asks for year model, & engine & it came back passed where the other one kept erroring out. so i'm baffled Thanks
