Question Booost Gauge

I have installed gauges on 2000 F-550 but the boost gauge only goes to about 11 psi the guy that istalled T off of the vacume line to the manifold & maf senser is this the right spot or do I have to hook it up somewhere else.

is the gauge fluttering at all, or does it just go to 11 and stick?

thats where ive got mine installed, but running stock you should be able to get close to 20 with the the go pedal to the floor. I would check to make sure that everything is nice and tight around that fitting. Next, I would try and do a visual inspection of the intercooler boots to ensure there are no cracks. make sure the clamps are nice and tight as well to ensure that you aren't bleeding off any boost.

Ok I'll check the boost hoses i was not sure what the boost is supposed be,
I've had afew problems with truck i bought last May so I am still trying to work the bugs out

Stock max is 17 lbs, but you will never see that unless you have a trailer hooked
up. Will never see it unloaded.

So if it is unloaded, 11 psi max would be in the right area

Yeh that is pulling 16000 # 5th wheel in Arkansas up & down hills, Thanks guys back to checking hoses & vacume hoses because 11# is all ot is doing

Yep 17-19 stock unloaded is normal.
