    What kids could be packin

Ok the hand guns I will believe to a certain point. But have you ever tried walking with a 4' shot gun stuffed in the leg of your pants? It's not that easy, and don't ask me how I know. LOL

    A fight with a toyota!

I put on the trailer hitch just for that reason.......getting rear ended. My brother got hit about a month before me but his hitch took all the hit and the other vehicle was hurtin'. So I figured I would do the same in case I got rear ended. Problem is when they miss the hitch totally and...

    Strong Fuel Smell

If there is a leak it may be on the drain valve or possibly the the filter housing gasket. Any little bit of fuel on top of the motor is gonna give you a very noticable fuel smell in the cab. Find some engine degreaser once you have located the leak and then clean that motor up asap!:sweet

    A fight with a toyota!

O yeah, i forgot to tell you all that the reason she smoked a parked rig was that she couldn't get the car into gear so she was looking down to get it in the right gear.

    A fight with a toyota!

Yeah, the yota was totalled, off to the scap yard for it. My truck had $4500 damage done to it. Body work to the drivers side and front of the box, new bumper, new main leaf spring cause it was kinked, touch ups on the back of the cab where the box hit and body work to the tail gate, and fresh...

    A fight with a toyota!

Some girl decided that "UNDER" my S D was the best parking spot for the yota. Worst of all I had the truck parked there and wasn't even driving it. Oh, and it was her friends dads car. Not so good!

    manual or auto for towing

For only towing a standard is better, no worrying about tranny temp and t c slipping plus it gets the power to the ground better. All that and I have an auto tranny, but what can I say the autos are way better for driving in town!;)

    Remote Start

I have the ford one, came with the truck, I think it works well. I don't need an alarm where I live so that doesn't really bother me. The key fob that tells you when the truck is running would be nice tho.

    AFE Stage II installed!

That my friend is called turbo surge. Happens when you stop suckin the air into the motor cause you backed off fast on the happy pedal. The boost has no place to go. Very bad for turbos. A different compressor wheel like a Wicked Wheel will help that situation a bit.

    went with MAGNAFLOW!!!

Wish I would have caught this earlier! I picked up a magnaflow 4" 409 ss turbo back with tip for around $400 shipped. The 300 series was a couple c-notes more and the duals still more but even still It would have been alot less than $2000. I think you should get your money back and buy it...

    Powerstroke swap?

Too late, I got everything in pieces. The only good thing is I have two running PSD to go off of if I get stumped.

    Powerstroke swap?

The whole front end is apart now and waiting for the possible motor swap. If the early PSD motors have the same turbo set up as the 99 + motors then I'm hopin' I'll be good. Everything else will be put in after the motor.

    Powerstroke swap?

Well I guess as long as the 88 7.3 L engine mounts will fit that 99 psd engine, then I'll be good to go. :D

I want to quiet my beast down a bit

My 03 is fairly quiet. It has all the cab insulation on the firewall. It is quiet enough that I don't notice half the time that I have a 4" straight pipe tail pipe. LOL :D

    Powerstroke swap?

I have everything for it. My buddy owns a scrap yard and has any parts I would need. :sweet

    Dead Batts & Charging Question

What a good idea would be rather than hooking your batt charger up to the truck every time it goes dead is get a small low amp solar powered charger. They are fairly cheap and they don't use any unnecessary energy. Then the batterys in your rig will be charged always.:sweet

    Dead Batts & Charging Question

Both batts are hooked together for starting porposes. So when you charge one batt you charge them both. Same thing with your charging system on the truck. :)

    Anybody..........anybody at all?

    Powerstroke swap?

I have a 93 f 350 4x4 crew cab lb that I need to use for a work truck. The truck is in too good a shape ( rust wise ) just to scrap it. The truck came with a 460 but that thing was a pig on gas. Now I have Two 1999 7.3L powerstroke motors to make into one good motor and I need to know what...
