Sorry, I missed your post earlier. I can post some pictures, but it's at the dealership right now. It really sounds like the snap ring symptoms, and I've read it was applicable to snow plows applications because of the frequent forward/reverse shifting. Recall 05B27--2005 TorqShift...- Bolt

Well I talked to the service manager and told him about #05B27. He pulled it up and didn't see anything about the case cracking, only replacing the snap ring, and that it was only for snow plow vehicles anyway. The thing that gets me is that it is a known problem, but for certain...- Bolt

On 2005's, theres a 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, and 100,000 mile warranty on the powerstroke engine only. Then there's the corrosion, emissions and safety system warranties and stuff like that. I think on the 05's there's also a $100 deductable once you are out of 36k. I think it's...- Bolt

I haven't seen it with my own eyes, but sounds like passenger side rear of the tranny, a bit above the oil pan.- Bolt
