    2008 Tweeter

Has anybody installed tweeters on the horizontal part of the door panel, just infront of the power mirror adjustment, or would this collect allot of dust?

    lifted running boards 2"

Cool, I took them off because I always found myself trying to step over them, ending up banging into them. I'm 6'5", and anybody shorter complains about the lack of them. I can still get in easily, sit right down on the seat with 33's. Thinking about a front end lift, and realize it would be...

    Boost Tube Leaks?

I put a 4 inch MBRP exhaust on it this week. No more kitty, just the MBRP muffler. Rolled edge tip (free, not by choice). There's some oily residue inside the tip today. Not sure if it was there yesterday. Where is it coming from? I went on a 1-1/2 hour ride yesterday afternoon, and today I...

    lifted running boards 2"

I tossed mine the day I came home from the dealer. I'd like to see some pics, may change my mind.

    Off Topic - Toyota Towing....

I saw this thing on a TV commercial too, didn't watch the whole thing, but it was definitely a Toyota SUV and an Airstream. Something about having more fun camping than a night in front of the TV.

    Is my '99 a '99?

What kinda truck is it? Superduty? 250 or 350? I don't think there even was a 98 F250, so that would answer that. If it's a Superduty, it's a 99.

Is there really a difference between Interstate and their cheaper version, PowerVolt?

    Wheels and Tires?

16.5's don't have a safety bead. 15's won't fit your rotors, and the load ratings aren't too great. 16's and 17s are where you need to be. Any bigger and the tires cost big bucks.

King Ranch - Rear Heated Seats ?

Seat heaters seem like a waste to me. I would go with a cooled seat 10 times before I needed a heated seat. The sweaty back is not too pleasant, especially if you are going somewhere all dressed up.

Carquest, John Deere, Napa, should all have pretty good deals on batteries, and plenty of variety to pick from.

    ford f550 conversion

Just flip the wheels around and they should be about right! Haha, that would be something else. I guess you need some spacers, what do the 200 550's use? Bigger spacers or a different axle setup? With stuff like this Ford parts are generally better than aftermarket.

Well if it's all warranty you didn't make out too bad. Good deal on the bats, bad deal on the install. Win some/loose some.....

    best chip/tuner for under $500

I just purchased an SCT X3 from Innovative, $444 delivered, 3 of their custom tunes on it. Don't have it yet, and haven't run anything else, just telling ya what I found to be the best bang for the buck.

    Reflashing For Tire Size

How about just a regular OBDII scanner/programmer?

    Reflashing For Tire Size

I believe the superchips and bullydog modules are a few hundred bucks. This size isn't outrageous, so I'll just pay the dealer a one time fee and be done with it.

    Reflashing For Tire Size

Yup. I guess I'm just trying to avoid the dealer if at all possible, I much prefer a dealer 45 mins away than my local dealer, and I don't make it to the big city very often anymore, and was seeing if there were other ways of doing it.

    Reflashing For Tire Size

Thanks. It wasn't the math that scared me though, I's just wondering where I could get it done.

    Reflashing For Tire Size

I put 33's on my 2005 6.0. What are my options for getting the speedo to be correct again? I think an SCT only does tranny shift points, right? Dealer? Other people with a scanner? What have you guys done?

You have to go here to see the colors, this has been a thread that was moved. http://www.superdutydiesel.com/forums/new-member-introductions/14464-texas-newbie.html#post130591 A reverse platinum paint job, neat-o.

spaghetti, no more (new amp rack installed)

The prices I pulled up are off the hushmat website. Yeah, shipping on the stuff is counter productive. You are trying to add weight to the panels. I remember some of the cummins guys back in the day were rolling lead sheets out into the floorboard of their trucks to get some of their sanity back.

Ah, I can see that working. Never seen it done, though, but haven't really been looking for it either. Stacks aren't for me.

B-Quiet sound deadening material - Installs - 2000 Ford F350 Crew Cab Diesel Here's a guy that used 140 sq ft inside his superduty. Anybody heard of this product? 58 sq ft of Hush Mat is $400. 50 sq ft of B-Quiet Ultimate is $119 when you buy 2+. Is this too good to be true? Here's another...

spaghetti, no more (new amp rack installed)

Thanks! Yeah, I knew about the poly trick, I've been meaning to do it on my dad's F150 most, but just haven't gotten around to it. Mine could use it to. How much would you say it costs to Hush Mat a crew cab?
