    A/C problem at 105 F

    The compressor on my truck seems to cycle off to long. It stays off long enough for the duct temp. to get warm, as in 80-90 degrees. Checked the charge and its OK. Hows the thermastatic control in the dash work? Is it like a capillary tube and switch? Any other ideas are appreciated.

    It's a bone stock 05 F250 crewcab 4X4 SB, nothing special. But thanks, I'll try a good cleaning and the high tack idea. Its been months since this has happened, and never with this particular hose. Heck the truck has less than 20k on it.

    The studs that attach the bearing to the truck can be very difficult to remove. I would seriously consider buying new studs from Ford and make sure you have a new o-ring seal as well.
