    I undertsnad that, there is very little room under the 08 seats, as well as behind the seat. the steel tray had to be removed to even fit a box under there.

    Ok, just an update. I have the rear center console model and all I can say is "WOW!" this sounds awesome. I have a single 10" RF punch 2 and an old Xplod 300 watt amp. The clarity and deep tone are great. What a great product.

    Please help with High Idle problem...

    what kind of high idle do you have, a chip or did you wire into the pto- or bcp wires? the battery charge protector will vary the high idle between 900-1200 depending on the load on the batteries. it will self adjust in that ballpark when needed.

    so far i have 3000 miles on it, i've seen a best of 20.1 cruising 65 on the highway, averge around 15.4-16.5 mixed.

    i know its not a big deal, but it pissed me off that i had to make 2 trips. i'm sure there are several errors in the manual, just letting everyone know that if you by chance need this part, that its incorrect.

    Just FYI, the back up light bulb burned out, so i went to the store and looked in the owners manual and its incorrectly stated. It states the back up light needs a 3156, 3156K bulb when it actually needs a 921. No where even close. Just pissed me off that i had to make 2 trips to the parts...

I took the positive of my lights and hooked it to the aux 3 and grounded the negative from the light under the dash and would you know it works.     all i have to say is that it seems Ford had done their homework on the truck. the fit and finish seems very good. nvh is good for a 10000 gvw, overall i'm impressed. i do miss my 7.3, it was a great truck, just a maintenance nightmare lately. thanks for the compliments

    Lost all brake lights/ turn signals

    My buddy has a 95 f-150 and he lost all his brake lights and turn signals yesterday. the headlights and running lights still work. no blown fuses found. any ideas? sorry its not a diesel, but the truck is similar to most. thanks for the help.

    Well here are some pics, so far the truck is great... been getting about mid-15's for mpg. its so quiet, you almost forget its a diesel! i miss the 7.3 sound, but sometimes i love being quiet.

    i think the 5.4 gasser is louder, i drove both and the diesel is pretty damn quiet. what a difference going from the loud 7.3, <---still a great truck though.

    I sold my 97 7.3 to my buddy an today I got the new 08 F-250SD Crew Cab, long bed 4x4, 6.4 twin turbo. So far all i can say is wow, the ride is nice, its super quiet. I'll go take some pics and load them up later today.:thumbs

    Would installing a snow plow void the factory warranty if the truck has the snow plow prep? the dealer said no, but i'm not sure i believe him. he seemed to over confident if you know what i mean.
