    I wouldn't worry too much.A certain amount of oil residue is common. I read in an old thread that apparently in time oil can migrate through the boot itself. Is it coming from the boot or elsewhere?I would clean it up and try to pinpoint the spot, then go from there. How's your boost pressure/power?

    Thanks for reply. Does this mean that the x-gauge has the capability, but we just need the codes, and they're out there somewhere? I don't really understand where the Ford CAN codes come from; Ford? Maybe I should have bought the Autoenginuity instead?

    I would guess egr valve also, but yes, there could be head gasket problem and may or may not be related to your original concern. Are you out of warranty? Also are you aware that the coolant level in the degass bottle should be kept at the min.level,not the max.?

    I'm not certain what you mean that "it goes in O.D.". By itself? Anyway, I had exhaust smell in my cab, and it was a poor connection at the y-pipe after turbo. Is your trans. slipping,getting hot? If you haven't already,check for leaks/ fluid level, let us know how you make out, good luck!

    I meant that the turbo occasionally would quit doing it's thing. After hard acceleration it would hang up for awhile, like a huge long lag,then come back.
