Talked to the dealer yesterday, the Mechanic had one more to finish before he started on mine (they only have one diesel mech). Told the Service Manager about the TSB and my truck falls in the production window. Will keep you posted. Hope to hear something this evening on it.

The dealer called. It is the issue with the TSB concerning the instrument cluster. The engine parameter all check out on the computer. It is just giving a false indication. Bad news is 630.00 or so to fix it. I think I will look into an after market temp gauge or other options.

If it were my truck...I'd buy that scangauge or some diagnostic
software (autoenginuity.com) QUICKLY, before i was out of warranty...
just to confirm the dealers findings (again before i was COMPLETELY
out of warranty) !
i dont know where else to look or what the current/rev part number is but...maybe this will give you (and other helpful members some ideas)

How sad it is that we should have to feel the need to confirm the dealers findings. I could'nt agree more,and am taking Bush's advice and ordering the ScangaugeII myself. I'm closing in on 100k real fast.
