    Fords advertised #'s differ from the dyno tests of the shootout results from the stock truck. The dyno graphs are obviously RWHP. Fords #'s are power at the flywheel I think, yes?

    Are they doing this as part of a warranty plan, or is it on you? Did Carmax give you a Carfax? Other than the water in fuel light; how's it run? Does it smoke?

    It can be many things. Don't you still have Warranty? It needs to be checked for any codes thrown. Changed your fuel filters lately? It could be HPOP? Air in fueline? FICM? ICP? The list goes on. Let us know what it turns out being.

    Ditto. Probably a boot, but it could be cracked intercooler (rare). The ends are plastic. If that's the case, upgrading to an aftermarket performance intercooler would be the way to go. Maybe even cheaper? Does anybody know what Ford charges for a stock intercooler? Hopefully it's just a blown...

    The dealer did mine, and I didn't see them do it. They must have a modified or special degaus cap that has a fitting to pressurize, or they tee into one of the hoses with a fitting to pressurize. It seems that teeing in would be good because you could see if your cap is holding 16 psi. Hopefully...

    Hi Dave. I checked out the BLS (battery life safer)type desulphator on E-bay. Is this the one you use? It looks good but is over twice as much as the onboard BatteryMinder brand. Is this a case of you get what you pay for, and may be worth the extra cost? Just looking for your input. Thanks.
