    At 1600 deg.'s your turbos fins would be glowing red and baked!! 1350 is where you shouldn't exceed. I set my alarm at 1300.

    Looking at all your previous problems/replacements, it appears you've been their,done that before. We can only hope that it is just another egr cooler or simpler and not H.G.'s. First step as you know is the coolant pressure test to diagnose where it's leaking. I'll cross my fingers for you...

    Maybe. Just sitting there it can start rusting up. If you don't believe, check out this article Diesel Technician SocietyIn time, all our turbos need to cleaned or replaced. It is the way it is for most moving parts. Driving habits and your local climate(humidity)has a lot to do with it I believe.

    The factory TFT gauge is totally useless. The only thing it does is tell you when you've boiled and fried you're tourqeshift.
