What tires fit on stock 18s

+1. What good is it for someone to say: "I've got the super-duperist tires in the world" with no pics? They may be the super-duperist, but I wanna see how they look!!!!

gelled up tonight-not. Fuel pump failed!

At 5 degrees, is it possible that there is biodiesel in the mix?

Aftermarket fuel filter install: who's done it and other questions.

For the 6.0, I used 3/8" SAE J30R9 fuel injection hose. As it was, the 3/8" barely fit over the QD ridge on the hard line ends at the tank and the HFCM. Pics of my pre-pump fuel filter setup:

    Results from Dahl 100 Install

If you plan to run anything more than B20 biodiesel, I'd recommend that you install SAE-J30R9 fuel injection hose instead of 30R7. It's a low permeable hose that's rated for use with biodiesel. SAE-J30R7 is not rated for bio and will fail eventually. After replacing my OEM fuel hose and quick...

Aftermarket fuel filter install: who's done it and other questions.

I looked tonight and I know the 6.0 has the QD's at the HFCM. Since I haven't seen the top of the tank, I assume it has one there also for the fuel feed. Oh and uh oh: I drained my aux fuel tank filter tonight and got fuel that looks like #2 or #3 out of the aux fuel filter feeding the OEM...

Aftermarket fuel filter install: who's done it and other questions.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing, although I don't think the 6.0 has the same vacuum leak problem the 7.3 has (yours is a 7.3, correct?). The 6.0 has a 10 micron WS filter at the HFCM and a 4 micron filter on top of the engine.

Aftermarket fuel filter install: who's done it and other questions.

Perhaps a little bit of both. Rich I'm not. But I've already have the mount (this mount will be on it's second or third vehicle), filters are $12 each at Fleetfilter, plus some a couple plumbing doohickey's, should cost less than you would think. The dual mount will go between the pump and...

Aftermarket fuel filter install: who's done it and other questions.

Thanks! Where did you intercept the OEM fuel lines? I also take it that since yours is a 7.3, you removed the screen in the fuel tank or is that a bad assumption? Bushpilot, two isn't enough for me. I plan to five total when I'm done. Thanks, Al

Aftermarket fuel filter install: who's done it and other questions.

And this 2 micron filter is located pre-pump? If so, do you use a vacuum gague to monitor filter performance or as aid to tell when it's starting to get clogged? I'm planning dual 5 micron filters in parallel, but I'm a little worried about starving the pump with 5's.

Aftermarket fuel filter install: who's done it and other questions.

Thanks! I checked with a micorometer and confirmed that the 6.0 lines are 5/16". What filter element do you have in your Dahl unit? Thanks for the help. Al

Aftermarket fuel filter install: who's done it and other questions.

I want to install an auxiliary fuel filter in my 6.0. Since I already have an extra fuel filter mount, I plan to put this kit together myself vs. buying a kit from Dieselsite etc. Anyone know of a writeup that's already been done? I specifically want to know where to intercept the fuel...

WTB: Used '06 6.0 EGR valve

Thanks! There's a whole section on Ebay Motors for just EGR stuff, cool. Lot's of 6.0 EGR valves. Most of them show this as the EGR part number: 5c3z-9f452-AA Can anyone confirm that this fits the '06 PSD? 1stfordparts.com says that that part number is for 2003-2004. Thanks, Al

06 f350SD PSD RUST IN FUEL SYSTEM??

I have a 90 gallon Northern Tool/RDS aluminum aux fuel tank on '06 PSD. I run all my fuel through this tank before it goes into the main OEM tank. Between the two tanks, I have a 3 micron water separator filter setup. Except on long trips, I don't fill the aux fuel tank nor keep it full...

Oil cooler install in the 6.0: How to?

I did a search but found nothing obvious. What's the best way to connect an oil cooler to a 6.0? I already have an oil bypass filter, but it's using 1/4" line and I don't think that will pull enough oil to cool anything down. How are other people connecting an oil cooler in their 6.0's...
