    i replaced the fuel pump about 6 months ago and the valey is dry i cant see any oil leaking anywhere except the right rear corner of the pan, i washed it down etc..

    with the price of diesel going higher and higher, can you use kerosine, or kerosine mixed with something for fuel? Or is biodiesel the only alternative?

    * Fuel Leak *

    fuel pump i had the same problem about 6 months ago. It ended up being the fuel pump that sits in the valley. If it leaks it is designed to drain out the back side of the valley. Reminded me of the weep hole on water pumps. it took me a while to figure out what it was.

    I lifted my truck recently and am looking at tires. i have the stock rims on the truck (which I like). they are 7 inches wide. has anyone put a 37 or 35x12.50 on this size rim?

    lifted i just recently lifted my truck and used skyjacker springs front and rear. i was really suprised the 6inch springs that i got ride better than my stock ones did. maybe buy new springs with a smaller lift, if 6inch lift isnt your thing.

    Thanks I think i found the source of the leak. it is at the very bottom of the valley, there are blue colored fuel lines. That one is cracking. Is this fuel line different than regular fuel line, and if so does napa carry it?

    thank you. it was a fuel restriction sensor. factory part. i replaced it, but i'll tell ya diesel fuel isnt the only thing expensive about this truck. that little part was 61 dollars and change. thanks again for the help identifying the part.

    help please? i have a 97 f-250hd and :confused: on the fuel regulator assembly there is what looks to be a sending unit. It is leaking fuel and i cant seem to find this part anywhere. what is it? do i need it? what is it called? and is a dealer item only? any help would be greatly appreciated.
