    I'm still learning , but head gasket don't seem to be a problem on stock 6.0 motors. 1 common problem is owners not reading the owners manual . Egr valve cleaning should be a service at 30K or less , and ford should give a big discount on all the known updates that could make these trucks...

    I'm thinking if it won't restart in the drive through write up area they will have to deal with it, maybe the egr harness will fall off for a code. My problem is I don't drive the truck everyday , thought the egr cleaning fixed it but no luck . It always restarted after 1 hour until today...

    thanks atk - dealer said , they can't fix it if its running good , F I C M was replaced after it would hardly run after a fuel filter change back in May. I'm hoping it will stay in the no start mode , so I can tow it in to the dealer. Such a great truck when there running right .

    Anyone due the 05e16 emission recall for 05-06 6.0 pickups. (OBD) sustem "check engine light" may not come on when requred.     06 WITH 20" WHEELS Hello , new member here, My o6 has the 20 " factory chrome wheels with the Goodyears, I'm saving up now to replace them $$$, the way I like to drive, it get's 13mpg in the tow haul mode not towing, best yet is 16mpg pulling 4 snowmobiles with tow haul off.

    Hello, finally figured out how to post, bought a 2006 f350 loaded used ,list price $51,065 paid 35k, I think I got a deal, had 6800 miles, now has 8100 miles.....no problems...never seen a dealer yet....has not had the last emission recall yet.........great truck and great website...Bob
