    yeah both cables are off and key out. so when i clean the contact's do i clean them till they turn copper or just till the clear is off? i went till the clear is off.

    weellllll. ts was closed. so i called dicount power part's. those are some good guy's. i recomend them. they answered the phone way after hour's and were realy helpful. they said put it in and try it. if it don't start its the wrong one. it dont start. got exchange it. thanks tbar and bryan.

    Ace hardware sells 12pt 8mm but in 3/8 drive. it fit in REAL snug against the housing but worked.

    about the 5/16, not. on the one i helped with it sliped and almost rounded the bolt. they are 8mm. not 5/16. are they diffrent from one year to the next?

    it's possible. i've seen two dodge's like that. i (personaly) thought they looked goofy as hell. i wouldnt do that. but i fully support you if you do it. :sweet you got a dually?
