    Relocating batteries

Has anyone relocated their driver side battery and if so where did you move it too? I am trying to figure out a way to get more fresh air to my filter and removing the battery seems like the place to start so I can get some ducting in there with fresh cooler air. Also what does IIRC stand for...

Why am I killing fuel pumps

I am pretty religious about checking my fuel filter because of running B100 and have not had the problems some experienced using it (B100). Is there another "prefilter" I should put on the truck and if so any suggestions. Thanks, Craig

    Time to Wake Up, Again

Had my breath taken out of me when the clips of dad's and their babies were displayed, as my 2 1/2 year old is running around the house. They should close the nightly news with that about once a week, maybe change the song occasionally. Something like Darrel Worley's "Have You Forgotten?"...

Howdy All, Took the fan and clutch of last night. Today driving around Dallas at 103 degrees, no overheating problems, stayed where it normally read with fan. I was in stop and go traffic not running down the freeway. The truck seemed to accelerate better, is this just my imagination...

    Diesel Secret website??

CrAackler, It's a scam, it has been brought up here before. I think that one of the wiser diesel fellas around here had said that "Some of those ingredients I wouldn't let get within 10' of my truck." One of those things were if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Craig

Howdy all, I just need to double check something here. When REMOVING the fan clutch bolt I should turn the bolt to my RIGHT (CLOCKWISE) to REMOVE it? I DON'T follow the "Lefty loosy / righty tighty" deal? I don't want to screw something up. Thanks, Craig Edited update: Fan shroud has a...

    fuel pump replacement

When you back the Banjo bolt out there are two washers you want to keep or replace. They go on either side of the ring that connects the fuel lines together. I ended up using a dab of RTV to hold the inside one in place while I slid the bolt back thru when putting it back together. When you...

I saw where one fella ran a 4" (I think) flexible dryer vent from the front bumper up to his intake on this site or the evil diesel place.
