    Did he recomend a 3/4 over a ton truck, and if so why? If the trailer you are going to pull has any size or weight to it at all I would not consider pulling with any thing other than a ton truck. The other post seem to cover gas vs. diesel.

    when to change oil again?

    I don't know if the service manuals are different on the newer models but, on my 95 it says regular service interval is at 5,000 miles unless under extreme duty. That's what I have done for 350,000 miles with Rotella 15-40. Works for me and easier to keep up with service at even numbered miles.

    The ICP was different on my son's 2000 but maybe it's the improved model. It will be easier to replace next time if needed. Glad you got it back on the road.
