    I had similar problems on 2000 PSD. Have you tried to have codes read? Code for ICP sensor showed up and replaced sensor. Seems to have cured the problem.

    I don't know about your part of the country but here the Ethanol plants are not fired by coal, they are fired by: ETHANOL If your production is energy, why would you use energy from another source?

    This is wierd.......

    I had same problem. Turn on right signal, cruise would shut off. Replaced bulb, corrected problem. The brake light was bad and kicking cruise off.

    Did you say you are replacing one battery every 6 months? You have to replace both at the same time as one weak battery will pull a new one down that much quicker. Replace both next time and that problem may be solved.

    I don't detect this noise when under load. When I hear it most is steady and smooth, stereo off, smooth level road, cruise control on(steady rpm). Everything has to be very quiet, it is not very loud but concerning.
