    What's this pulsating sound?

I have put a new set of tires all the way around since this has started so that's not the problem. Same sound old tire vs. new tires. The idler bearing is easy to install and can be bought at any parts store. Can't remember the number, but very common. Cost 2 or 3 dollars.

    What's this pulsating sound?

I have exactly the same noise. It's been going on for the last 4 or 5 months. My TC is very loud at idle and probably going out so I have assumed maybe this new noise was connected to the TC but I don't know. I know it has nothing to do with fan or belt as I removed them when I installed a...

    taxing oil companies

No necessarilly so. Soy Oil is a by-product derived from the extrusion of soybeans. Millions of tons of soybean meal are used for food products and animal feeds. Soy Oil is what is left form extruding soybeans into soy meal. The same thing for Ethanol. Ethanol is the by-product of...

    taxing oil companies

How would a tax paid to the government lower the price of oil? The government would spend those funds for something else and the oil companies would raise their prices to offset the additional taxes. Do we really pay public "servants" for this logic?

    Injector Recommendations

I was in the same position you are in. I put the stage 1's in my 1995 at 330,000 miles and could not be happier. Then had my son's 2000 injectors rebuilt into Single Shot Stage 1's. It cured his problems as well. You do have to go to chip or reprogram the one you may already have to go from...

    Clutch parts?

I have been able to find that the broken part is the "no start switch". First how do I get it the clutch rod off? The end is too big to slip switch off. I think we have more problems than the broken switch. This switch should not keep clutch from disengaging? When depressing clutch it will...

    Fans and Warmer Weather

Thanks Joat. This is what I am looking for. I was wanting one fan hooked up the way your diagram is, and then the second fan totally independent from the first one. I am planning to wire it up with only a manual switch to use in extreme cases. I wanted the first fan on a thermostat so it...

    Fans and Warmer Weather

That's the thread I couldn't find for some reason. Any comments about the NAPA 205 degree thermostat. Any DIY on wiring and hooking those relays up? Where is the probe installed on the relay JOAT is using? I have a dual electric fan off a 95 Ford Windstar. Looks like top bolt holes will...

    Fans and Warmer Weather

Early last fall I had to replace my water pump. I replaced all the coolant while doing so. Decided to replace thermostat while I was at it. I had been looking at threads on the 203 degree thermostats and went to NAPA and asked for a stock thermostat. To my surprise it said 205 degrees:dunno...

I was driving down the highway...

Mine are steel also, I lost mine on an Interstate and cost me $60.00 for five minute service call and $60.00 for $3.00 bearing that the service man replaced.
